In my possession since 2001. Repotting and rewiring done in 2003. Since then, was trimmed back again in 2008.

Ehretia Microphylla

This is a 1 Apr 2012 photo update of the same plant, taken in early morning sun.

Bought the tree from local nursery in year 2000. Commonly know as Fukien Tea. This tree has a slanting trunk planted on an oval white marble plate. Ground roots are well developed and spread out.

Wrightia Religiosa

Same plant as the one posted on 3 Sep 2010 but this photo taken in late Sep 2010 where its in full bloom

This plant has been with me since 2000. Repotted in 2002 with a lower branch on left side removed. This photo taken in Aug 2010, where the left side still needs the remaining branches to extend out further.

Wrightia Religiosa

This plant was boought back in 2006, placed at in-laws' place and took back in 2008. Soil was totally changed and trim back a fair bit in Aug 2010

Aug 2010 was transfer from a much shallower pot to the pot as seen in photo. This plant was given to a friend during X'mas 2011. The pot was broken and was returned in Jan 2012 for repotting

Fig Tree

THe 1st photo taken in Sep 2010. The plant was collected from wild, a small sapling by the drain back in 2005. The trunk has grown to 4 cm by 2010. The term "Bodhi Tree" is also widely applied to this plant.

The 2nd photo taken in Jun 2010. The plant is fast growing and neneds frequent trimming.

The Bodhi tree at the Mahabodhi Temple is called the Sri Maha Bodhi. According to Buddhist texts the Buddha, after his Enlightenment, spent a whole week in front of the tree, standing with unblinking eyes, gazing at it with gratitude. A shrine was later erected on the spot where he stood, and was called theAnimisalocana cetiya

This plant was a cutting taken from nearby neighbor's house when under renovation in 2009. It is of light purple flower and has bloomed several times. Bloom of Sep 2010

寿娘子， bought from Taipei back in 2005. Hand made pot from friend, a potter artist. The plant has grown a fair bit over the years, and was exhibited in Garden Festival 2010 in Suntec Singapore (as shown in 1st photo).

In my hands since 1998. Repotted in 2004, trimmed down every 2 years. The 1st shot taken in Jun 2010 shortly after trimmed down and 2nd shot taken in Aug 2010, 2 month after trimmed down, showing off the new growth.

These 2 photos were taken in 2009 & 2010 respectively. The plant in my possession since 1999, bought from local nursery. Cut back fully only once in 2002.

Black Pine

Black pine under my care since 2004, bought from local nursery. No repotting so far (as of Aug 2010), just regular maintenance keeping it in shape.

Jan 2012: Sorry to see this planting final days of drying up after so many years of care without problem. This problem stated in Jun of last year.Tried to salvage the plant but unsuccessful.

Wrightia Religiosa

This is one of my early collection, bought in 1996. The 2 photos taken 1 month part, the earlier with leaves removed, the latter with new leaves growth. Plant height :12 cm

This plant has been with me since 1997, given to me by Richard Teo, art curator. Plant repotted 2 times since, most recent being Aug 2010. Trunk diameter :17 cm, height:43 cm.

This plant is developed from stock plant in 1999 over several years. Present look completed in 2002. Repotted in 2008 to current handmade pot from friend, a local potter artist. Both photos taken in 2008.

Black Pine

The plant was bought in Kyoto, Japan in Nov 2009. Hand made pot designed by self, creation completed with help of local potter artist friend in 2008. Repotted plant to standard pot in Jun 2010.
